Gracie was abandoned when her former owner moved out of a mobile home park on the Peninsula and just left Gracie behind. A kind resident saw her plight and began to feed the sweet gray cat and eventually Gracie charmed her way into coming inside at night. But then management cracked down on the residents feeding abandoned cats and threatened people with eviction. Poor little Gracie, on the street and homeless for a second time, but this time with no food supply! Of course that kind resident called for help, and that is how we took Gracie into a foster home.
Gracie is an attractive, people-friendly, sedate girl, who loves to be petted and brushed, and absolutely L-O-V-E-S her plush kitty bed--a huge step up for a cat who had been sleeping under a trailer. She enjoys sitting next to you while you are reading or watching videos or using your laptop. If you should decide to dangle a toy or feather in front of her, she would humor you by playing for a while, but most of the time she prefers sitting in a sunny window to watch the birds and squirrels outside. Other than good food and some attention, Gracie is a low maintenance girl who probably would be happiest as an only cat.
Spayed, tested, vaccinated and microchipped, Gracie is eager to move to her fur-ever home.
